📚 June Holidays Are NOT a Break From Success.
They Are A Head Start For Semester 2.

If you want better grades by End of Year…
you must use June wisely.

Here’s what I tell all my students:

✅ 1. Gather & Organise
Compile all notes, worksheets, exam papers.
Messy file = messy mind.
Clear file = clear thinking.

✅ 2. Re-attempt Mistakes
Don’t just look at corrections.
Redo every question you got wrong in WA or MYE.
Marks are lost because of repeated mistakes.

✅ 3. Read Ahead for Semester 2
Preview new topics before school reopens.
Students who prepare early always feel more confident in class.

The difference between a B and an A
is how June is used.

Parents — guide your child now.
Students — start today, not next week.

If you need structured guidance this June,

🔴 REDOX CHEMISTRY – MUST KNOW FOR O-LEVEL

If your child is still memorising definitions without understanding…
this topic will cost them marks.

Here’s what they MUST be clear about:

✅ Oxidation =
• Gain of oxygen
• Loss of hydrogen
• Loss of electrons (OIL)
• Oxidation state increases

✅ Reduction =
• Loss of oxygen
• Gain of hydrogen
• Gain of electrons (RIG)
• Oxidation state decreases

🎨 Colour changes to remember:
• KMnO₄ (acidified): Purple → Colourless
• KI (acidified): Colourless → Brown (iodine formed)

Exams don’t test memorisation.
They test whether students can:
1️⃣ Identify who gains/loses electrons
2️⃣ Track oxidation number changes
3️⃣ Recognise oxidising & reducing agents

If your child freezes when they see oxidation states or KMnO₄ questions…
they don’t need more tuition.

They need structured teaching.

O-Level Science Chemistry 2025
Paper 1 Q32 🔥 Redox Chemistry

Redox reactions still confusing?

Many students memorise:
“Oxidation is gain of oxygen.”
“Reduction is loss of oxygen.”

But when oxidation states appear…
they panic.

In this lesson, we break it down step-by-step:
✔ Identify oxidation number
✔ Track the change
✔ Determine oxidising vs reducing agent
✔ Choose the correct option with confidence

No guessing.
No memorising blindly.
Just clear method.

If your child freezes at “R.A.” questions…
it’s not ability. It’s lack of structure.

A day when duas are accepted.
A day when sins are forgiven.

Let us not let this day pass without repentance, gratitude, and hope.

Ya Allah, accept our fasting, forgive our shortcomings,
and grant us goodness in this world and the hereafter. Ameen. 🤲✨

PSLE Science 🔥
Adaptations & Survival Question

Bird P eats a poisonous beetle.
The poison does NOT affect Bird P.

So how does this impact its survival?

Many students write:
“Bird P will not die.”

❌ Too weak. Too vague.

In this lesson, Tch Mishel — our experienced PSLE Science tutor — breaks it down clearly:

Because Bird P is not affected by the poison:
✔ It can eat a food source others avoid
✔ There is less competition
✔ It gains a survival advantage
✔ Higher chance to survive and reproduce

PSLE answers must link:
Ability → Advantage → Survival.

That’s how you secure the mark.

If your child is giving short, incomplete answers…
they are leaving marks behind.
