The SMU Assurance & Advisory Team (SAAT) was established in 2005 to address the need to maintain transparency in the financials of student bodies in SMU.
Through the provision of assurance and advisory services to student bodies, SAAT seeks to improve the financial, compliance and operating systems of the SMU student bodies through its work. SAAT provides financial audit services to SMUSA in ensuring that the financial system is both efficient and effective in supporting SMU's Constituent Bodies (CBDs) and Student Clubs.
