Our second Centre Directors Gathering of 2026 brought together Centre Leaders from across Busy Bees Singapore for a meaningful day of learning, reflection, and connection — centred around understanding not only ourselves better, but also one another as we continue building stronger teams together. 🤝
Bringing together our Centre Directors, District Managers, Heads of Brands, and HQ leadership, the session created space for important conversations on safeguarding, leadership consistency, communication, and collaboration across our centres.
Through a light-hearted self-assessment activity inspired by different “true colours”, our leaders explored their natural communication and working styles while gaining deeper appreciation of the different strengths, perspectives, and approaches within their teams. It was a valuable reminder that strong teamwork comes not from everyone being the same, but from understanding how to better support and work alongside one another.
From Dr Maxine’s workshop sessions to team bonding activities and purposeful discussions, the gathering encouraged honest conversations, shared learning, and stronger alignment — helping our leaders continue fostering positive, supportive environments for both educators and families.
As we move forward together, we remain committed to strengthening a culture of care, trust, and collaboration, while keeping children at the heart of everything we do. 💛

A simple question. Meaningful and heartfelt answers. 💛
Across Busy Bees Asia, we asked our children, “What do you love most about your mummy?”
Their answers were adorable, sweet and meaningful, reminding us that sometimes, the simplest words say it best.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mums who nurture, guide and love unconditionally. ✨
This Labour Day, we celebrate the heart behind everything we do, and the amazing people who make it possible. 💛

We’re glad to welcome our Group Chief Executive, Mr. Peter Gowers, to Singapore last week. He shared insights on what parents across different regions are truly looking for, and how being part of a global network allows us to learn from one another and bring the best into our classrooms and communities.
We’re grateful that parents trust us with their children, and give us the opportunity to be part of their early years. While many come to us for care, what happens in these early years goes far beyond that. It is where children find their voice, build confidence, and begin to shape how they learn and grow.
It’s a responsibility we hold close, because at the end of the day, it is about giving every child the best possible start in life.
Hari Raya is a meaningful time for families to come together and celebrate traditions, gratitude and togetherness. Through these shared moments, we learn the joy of giving, kindness and the importance of community.
From all of us at Busy Bees Asia, we wish you and your loved ones a joyful Selamat Hari Raya filled with warmth, laughter and cherished time together. 🕌💛

Curiosity sits at the heart of how young children learn.
In 2026, Busy Bees centres across Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam will begin introducing the Bee Curious Teaching Principles — a set of guiding principles developed in the UK and shaped by over 40 years of early years education experience.
Bee Curious supports our educators in how they nurture children’s natural curiosity, build confidence, and create meaningful learning experiences each day. It draws on research in child development and is informed by the UK’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping educators create thoughtful, engaging environments where children can explore and learn.
Importantly, Bee Curious strengthens how we support children’s learning, without changing the curriculum your child is experiencing.
At Busy Bees, we believe that strong early childhood education begins with thoughtful teaching and educators who are supported in their professional practice. By aligning our centres around shared principles like Bee Curious, we hope to continue contributing to quality early childhood education across the region — always with the same purpose in mind: giving every child the best start in life.
