๐ฅฎโจ Our Chef In Training (Asian Pastries) Foundations class with Chef Loreta introduced participants to the art of making traditional Chinese flaky pastries from scratch! In Module 1, students learned the techniques behind creating delicate, buttery layers while discovering the different shapes and fillings commonly used in these beloved Asian treats. ๐จโ๐ณ๐ฅข
The young chefs crafted beautiful Apple and Red Bean Flower Pastries, combining flaky pastry with sweet fillings and elegant presentation. They also learned to make the classic Sweetheart (Wife) Cake, filled with fragrant candied wintermelon and sesame seeds, a traditional pastry cherished for its rich flavour and cultural heritage. ๐ธ๐๐ฅฎ
Throughout the session, participants developed valuable pastry-making skills, improved their confidence in the kitchen, and gained a deeper appreciation for traditional Asian baking techniques. ๐ฅข๐จ๐ณ Our Chef In Training (Chinese Cuisine) Module 8 class with Chef Loreta was an exciting culinary adventure into the rich flavours and techniques of Chinese cooking! Participants developed their skills while preparing Zhajiangmian, a classic noodle dish featuring a savoury and flavourful sauce served over perfectly cooked noodles. ๐โจ
The class also explored the art of cooking Sweet and Sour Fish, balancing tangy and sweet flavours with crispy fish for a dish that is both vibrant and delicious. To complete the menu, participants learned how to make Lion's Head Meatballs, a beloved Chinese comfort food known for its tender, juicy texture and rich flavour. ๐๐ฅข๐
Throughout the session, aspiring young chefs gained valuable hands-on experience, improved their culinary techniques, and built confidence in the kitchen while creating authentic Chinese dishes from scratch. ๐ฐ๐ท๐ฅ Our Korean Cuisine: Beef Bulgogi class with Chef Lynette was a fantastic exploration of Koreaโs rich culinary traditions and bold flavours! Participants enjoyed a hands-on experience preparing a comforting bowl of Gamjatang, a hearty pork bone stew packed with flavour and warmth. They also learned to make Bindaetteok, a crispy mung bean and vegetable pancake that is a beloved Korean street food favourite. ๐ฅ๐ฅข
The highlight of the class was Beef Bulgogi, where participants marinated and stir-fried thin slices of beef to create one of Koreaโs most iconic dishes. To complete the meal, they also prepared two varieties of Banchan, the traditional Korean side dishes that bring balance, colour, and variety to the dining table. ๐ฅฉ๐ฅฌโจ

๐ธ๐ฌโจ Our Crazy Rich Asian Flavours: Saturday Singapore Heritage Cooking Class was a wonderful culinary journey through some of Singaporeโs most iconic local dishes! Under the guidance of Chef Kogi, participants learned how to prepare a flavourful Hokkien Mee, packed with prawns, squid, pork, and noodles stir-fried in a rich stock. They also mastered Sambal Squid, a spicy and aromatic favourite, before ending on a sweet note with delightful Ondeh Ondeh bursting with molten palm sugar and coated in fresh coconut. ๐๐ฆ๐ฅฅ
The class was filled with hands-on learning, laughter, and plenty of delicious aromas as everyone explored the rich heritage and flavours that make Singapore cuisine so special. Thank you to all who joined us and made the session such an enjoyable experience! ๐จโ๐ณโค๏ธ

Our kitchen was filled with the rich, comforting aromas of toasted cumin, garam masala, and simmering tomatoes on Friday, June 19, 2026, for an extraordinary culinary journey into North Indian Cuisine! We were absolutely honored to have Chef Kamal Channa lead this deep-dive, bringing over 40 years of incredible expertise and North Indian heritage directly to our students.
Under his masterful guidance, participants learned the delicate balance of spices and traditional techniques entirely from scratch. The studio was alive with energy as everyone mastered the secrets behind making a truly authentic, velvety Butter Chicken with perfectly balanced flavors. Next, students put their knife and stove skills to work crafting Aloo Gobhi, learning how to perfectly spiced and sautรฉ potato and cauliflower without losing their beautiful texture. To complete the North Indian feast, everyone rolled up their sleeves to knead, roll, and puff traditional Chapati flatbreads directly on the stove.

Our teens brought fantastic focus and impressive artistic flair to the kitchen on Friday, June 19, 2026, for the ultimate sweet finale to our School Holiday Programme - Kitchen Confidence For Teens (Season 2)! Led by the expert hand of Chef Kogi, this dynamic pastry session was all about building true baking independence, diving deep into the science of dough-making, temperature control, and presentation skills.
The teens rolled up their sleeves to tackle restaurant-quality pastry classics completely from scratch. They started by mastering the delicate art of rubbing and chilling dough to blind-bake a perfect, crisp tart shell, filling it with a velvety, rich homemade Pastry Cream and arranging a vibrant array of fresh fruits for a stunning Fruit Tart. Next, they put their creaming and portioning skills to the test to bake a batch of thick, chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies. To finish the sweet feast, they learned the intricate technique of rolling, filling, and folding a wonderfully flaky Apple Cranberry Strudel. It was an incredible afternoon of skill-building that gave these young chefs the ultimate confidence to handle bakery scales, ovens, and delicate pastries with precision!
