What an incredible evening of learning, laughter, and inspiration at our 770th Chapter Meeting! 🎤🚀

With the theme “Elevate to Excellence,” members were encouraged to push beyond their comfort zones, challenge themselves, and continue growing as communicators and leaders.

A huge shoutout to our Toastmaster of the Day, Shan Ganegoda 👏🎉 for leading the meeting with great humour, energy, and enthusiasm. Shan kept the meeting flowing smoothly while keeping everyone engaged from start to finish!

📚 Special thanks to our Language Evaluator, Hyder Taufik, for introducing our Words of the Day: Ascend and Transcend.

These words truly reflected the spirit of the evening. Throughout the meeting, members shared stories, embraced challenges, and demonstrated their willingness to ascend to greater heights and transcend their previous limits in communication and leadership. 💪✨

After not speaking for several years, Shaun made a fantastic return to the stage with his Ice Breaker speech! Filled with energy and authenticity, he shared his journey and reflections on how life changes over time. While many things may have changed, one thing certainly hasn’t — his amazing speaking ability! 🌟👏

Need we say more? 😄 Kin once again showcased why effective evaluations are such a valuable part of Toastmasters, providing insightful feedback that helps speakers continue to grow and improve.

Heartiest congratulations to Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) Vincent Chen on earning the prestigious Triple Crown! 👑

What is the Triple Crown? It's a special recognition awarded to members who complete three or more education awards within a single Toastmasters year — a remarkable display of commitment, consistency, and a genuine love of learning. To put that into perspective: most Toastmasters take around a full year to complete just one pathway. Vincent completed three pathways in one year. 🤯

Vincent, your drive to keep growing — while generously lifting up those around you — embodies everything our club stands for. Three milestones in one year is no small feat, and we couldn't be prouder.

We're delighted to announce that our club has earned the Smedley Distinguished Club Award for the 2025–2026 Toastmasters year — and has been named Top Club of the Year in Division P! 🏆

The Smedley Award is the highest level of club recognition in Toastmasters International's Distinguished Club Program — celebrating elite performance in membership growth, educational achievement, and operational excellence. In other words, it's awarded to clubs that fire on all cylinders. ⭐

These honours reflect the dedication and growth of every member who showed up, spoke up, and supported one another on the journey toward becoming better communicators and leaders.
