Curious Thoughts Academy uses Structured Synthetic Phonics (SSP) that teaches children letter sounds through storytelling, actions, songs, and worksheets.

In every 75-minute lesson, children will learn five key skills:
1.⁠ ⁠Learning the letter sounds
2.⁠ Letter formation
3.⁠ ⁠Blending sounds to read
4.⁠ ⁠Segmentation (Identifying the sounds in words)
5.⁠ ⁠Tricky Words
