Today is Day 🌎
Every stripe is a year. The shift from blue to red tells the story of our warming planet - and the urgency of the moment we're in.
At the National University of Singapore (NUS), climate science research is gaining momentum, driven by the launch of the NUS Sustainable Futures initiative in May last year. The initiative brings together expertise across the university's research ecosystem to foster interdisciplinary and cross-sector collaborations in tackling climate change challenges. Read more here:

NUS is proud to stand with the International Universities Climate Alliance and universities worldwide to make climate science impossible to ignore.

🌳 Happy World Environment Day! 🍃
Amid the hustle and bustle of campus life, did you know that our NUS Kent Ridge campus is also home to more than 165 wildlife species, including hornbills, butterflies, and monitor lizards? 🦜🦋🦎
Our campus supports a rich diversity of flora and fauna that contributes to a vibrant ecosystem in the heart of our community.
Building a thriving campus ecosystem takes continuous effort. Through initiatives such as smart tree-tracking technology 🌳, rooftop gardens 🪴, rain gardens 💧, and rewilding projects 🌱NUS is creating more green spaces that bring nature closer to everyday campus life, while building a more sustainable campus where both people and nature can thrive.
