SLEUK is a social organisation focusing on entertaintment as a tool for education in Sierra Leone and the UK.
Members of SLEUK from the UK arm visit Sierra Leone every year during the Christmas holiday season. Sierra Leone and UK born Sierra Leoneans were in the group, the latter realized that they enjoyed visiting their homeland but did not fully understand the culture and ways of the native Sierra Leoneans and were disappointed that this was the fact, which had no resemblance on their parents but it was cultural differences in the country (UK) that they had lived most of their lives in.

SLEUK to work with HAPPY KIDS AND ADOLESCENTS a non governmental organization to help eradicate child illiteracy in Sierra Leone.. This includes working with HAPPY in providing school materials and funds for children in order for them to be able to attend schools wherever they are in the country.This is a very important project as we all know children are the future leaders.

SLEUK was invited to a World Aids Day planning conference organized by the National HIV/AIDS Secretariat in Freetown. By the end of d the conference, representatives of SLEUK volunteered to work with three sub-committees to help make the WAD 2011 celebrations a success. These committees includes the committee responsible for the INFORMATION TRADE FAIR which is due to be held at the Miatta Conference Hall, Brookfields starting 23 Nov 2011, the RESOURCE MOBILIZATION COMMITTEE and the REPORTING COMMITTEE..
SLEUK promise to work hand in hand with NAS to help tackle the AIDS Epidemic in Sierra Leone.
SLEUK appoints its acting executive body today during its second revival meetings.
SLEUK is a registered youth group with the Sierra Leone Ministry of youth and sports. It is an organization that focuses on using entertainment (music,sports etc) to educate Sierra Leoneans on issues affecting the general population. Issues such as HIV/AIDS awareness, infant mortality, child/teenage pregnancies, election and general violence etc.
