As a professional Early Childhood Educator, I take great pride in recognising and honouring children who have successfully completed their kindergarten education three years consecutively mastering Numeracy ,Literacy ,Number work ,Phonics etc .These young learners are not "just children"; they are future doctors, teachers, engineers, leaders, and innovators.

If we wait until adulthood to celebrate achievement, we have already missed the opportunity to build confidence when it matters most.

Society often measures a man's value by one thing: how much money he brings home. But what if the real crisis is that we have reduced fatherhood and manhood to a paycheck?

Men in Early Childhood Education understand something many people don't: children need more than food on the table. They need presence, guidance, affection, emotional support, and positive male role models. A father who only provides financially may feed a family, but a father who actively supports learning, caregiving, and child development helps build a future.

The uncomfortable truth is that many men are praised for paying bills while women are expected to carry the emotional, educational, and caregiving responsibilities alone. Men in Early Childhood Education challenge this outdated mindset. They prove that changing diapers, reading stories, helping with homework, comforting children, and nurturing young minds are not "women's duties"-they are parenting duties.

A strong family is not built by money alone. It is built when men choose to be present, engaged, and invested in the lives of their children. With hearts full of gratitude, we share the joyful news that-thanks to the incredible kindness of Sister Hadja Rashidatu and her beloved family and friends in the Netherlands-a blessed animal donation was successfully received and utilized today.

From this generous contribution, we prepared warm, nourishing, and delicious meals that brought smiles to so many faces. Children, families, and the elderly in our community gathered to share in this day of giving.

The joy on the faces of the little ones and the relief in the eyes of struggling parents reminded us why we do this. Today, hunger was eased in many homes-even if just for a day.

This is what compassion looks like. This is what community means.

But our work is far from over.
There are still many waiting for their turn to smile, to eat, to feel cared for.

This year, a beautiful sacrifice will be made on behalf of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) -a generous donation from Hajja Rashieda, family & friends in the Netherlands.

A big sheep will be sl0ughtered and distributed in remembrance of Prophet Ibrahim’s (AS) unwavering faith, through the Kids Happiness Foundation & Nursery School in Sorie Town, Banana Well, Freetown.
