Herer Technical and Vocational Center has successfully commenced training for its auto-mechanics and truck driving trainees. A key feature of the truck driving training is the use of simulators, which are designed to minimize the risk of accidents while providing a realistic driving experience. This innovative approach allows trainees to develop their driving skills in a safe environment before transitioning to real-world driving scenarios.
This initiative is part of a project called "Youth Employment and Placement," which is funded by the US ADF (United States African Development Foundation). As part of the program, every trainee will receive a complete set of tools and equipment necessary for both mechanics and truck driving, ensuring they are well-equipped for their future careers.
The trainees are performing excellently, and the trainers are pleased to witness their progress and commitment to learning. This positive feedback highlights the effectiveness of the training program and the supportive environment fostered at the center.
Overall, the combination of simulator training, comprehensive equipment provision, and dedicated instruction is setting the trainees up for success in their respective fields.
