The Ministry of Information, Communications and Technology, in partnership with Botho University - Eswatini, invites eligible female candidates to apply for the Women in STEM Scholarship Programme.

This initiative is aimed at empowering women and increasing female participation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) by supporting studies in critical technology fields.

Eligible Degree Programmes:
💻 Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
🔐 Bachelor in Network Security and Computer Forensics

Scholarship Coverage:
✔️ 75% of tuition fees covered by the scholarship
✔️ Successful candidates contribute the remaining 25%

Minimum Requirements:
📚 At least five (5) credits at SGCSE, IGCSE or equivalent, including:
• English Language
• Mathematics

Applicants must first obtain an official Offer Letter from Botho University (Manzini Campus) before submitting their scholarship application.

Ten students from Botho University's Faculty of Engineering and Technology attended the official launch of the Startup World Cup Eswatini 2026 at the Biotechnology Park in Nokwane.

The event exposed students to global entrepreneurship and innovation opportunities, including the chance to compete for a USD 1 million investment prize in San Francisco. Through interactions with industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers, students gained valuable insights into startup development and technology-driven solutions.

Inspired by the experience, our students are now preparing innovative projects to compete alongside the country's brightest young entrepreneurs, showcasing their creativity, skills, and entrepreneurial potential.

We are committed to nurturing future innovators and leaders who will drive positive change locally and globally.

Released in recognition of World Environment Day, the documentary highlights Botho University's commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable development through impactful initiatives that promote renewable energy, water conservation, and responsible waste management.

60% of the campus's electricity is generated through solar power, supported by over 1,100 solar panels installed on campus.

A comprehensive retrofitting programme has resulted in a remarkable 75% reduction in water consumption across the campus.

𝗪𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
Currently, 35% of campus waste is recycled, supported by a long-standing commitment to reducing waste and eliminating single-use plastics at official university events.
