ACSL คืออะไร และทำไมการแข่งขันครั้งนี้จึงสำคัญ?

ACSL หรือ American Computer Science League เป็นหนึ่งในการแข่งขันด้าน Computer Science สำหรับนักเรียน K–12 ที่มีประวัติยาวนานที่สุดรายการหนึ่ง โดยดำเนินการแข่งขันมาอย่างต่อเนื่องเป็นปีที่ 48

การแข่งขันนี้มุ่งเน้นทักษะสำคัญด้าน Computer Science เช่น Logical Thinking, Algorithms, Problem Solving, Data Structures และ Programming ซึ่งเป็นพื้นฐานสำคัญสำหรับเด็กๆที่สนใจต่อยอดสู่สายเทคโนโลยี วิศวกรรม และ AI ในอนาคต

ความน่าเชื่อถือของ ACSL ยังสะท้อนจากการที่การแข่งขันอยู่ในรายการ Approved Activities ของ National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) และเป็น Institutional Member ของ Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA)

What is ACSL, and why is it important?

ACSL, or the American Computer Science League, is one of the longest-running computer science competitions for K–12 students, with 48 years of continuous operation.

The competition focuses on essential computer science skills such as logical thinking, algorithms, problem solving, data structures, and programming — strong foundations for students who want to grow in technology, engineering, and AI.

ACSL is also recognized through its inclusion on the Approved Activities list of the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) and its institutional membership with the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA).

Last year, more than 7,000 students from 21 countries across 6 continents participated in the ACSL regular season competitions, making it a truly international platform for young learners to challenge themselves and compete globally.
