Dusit Thani College would like to extend its heartfelt congratulations on another milestone achievement of our distinguished alumnus.

On the occasion of Al Meroz Hotel Bangkok, under the management of Mr. Husen Mulsap, General Manager and alumnus of the Hotel Management program, receiving the “Tourism Accommodation Standard” award for 2026–2028 from the Department of Tourism, Ministry of Tourism and Sports.

Those who have passed through the Ramkhamhaeng–Hua Mak area may have noticed a striking high-rise hotel distinguished by its contemporary Islamic architectural style — that is Al Meroz Hotel Bangkok.

And here’s a little insider recommendation: the hotel’s Diwan Restaurant serves halal Indian cuisine that is considered among the very best in Bangkok.

June 8, 2026, marked a moment of great pride and joy for the faculty members and staff of Dusit Thani College, who have worked together to drive and advance the institution through 33 remarkable years. As Thailand’s first higher education institution dedicated exclusively to hospitality education, the College has remained one of the country’s leading hospitality institutions since its establishment on June 1, 1993.

The celebration began with a royal decoration presentation ceremony before the royal portrait, followed by the presentation of Outstanding Researcher Awards and long-service awards honoring faculty members and staff who have dedicated 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 years of service to the College. The event also included Recognition Awards, awards for participants in the “Green Mind, Healthy Heart” campaign with the highest accumulated step counts, recognition for environmental sustainability activities, as well as an Islamic religious ceremony.

The celebration concluded on a joyful note with everyone gathering to enjoy an assortment of desserts and singing “Happy Birthday” together, united in their commitment to guiding Dusit Thani College gracefully and sustainably into its 34th year and beyond.

Dusit Thani College has a strong relationship with PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association), an international organization that promotes sustainable tourism in the Asia-Pacific region.

Whenever PATA organizes activities, Dusit Thani College consistently sends students to gain international experience and perspectives with PATA. Most recently, two students — Mr. V Jer Lee, a student in the Professional Culinary Arts (International Program), and Mr. Weerabun Lin, a student in the Hospitality Management (International Program) — traveled to participate in the PATA Annual Summit held in Gyeongju, and the PATA Youth Symposium for students and youth held in Pohang, South Korea.

Dusit Thani College has once again celebrated success at the Thailand Ultimate Chef Challenge (TUCC) 2026, held from May 26–30, 2026 at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani. Students from the Culinary Arts program, together with their instructors, achieved an impressive total of 38 awards, consisting of:
• 4 Gold Medals
• 9 Silver Medals
• 23 Bronze Medals
• 2 Diplomas
• Best Ultimate Pantry Chef Award

Beyond the students’ own perseverance and dedication in honing their culinary skills, this achievement would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of the faculty members. Year after year, they devote themselves to training and guiding the students, helping them secure numerous awards.
