🌿⛰️ Adventure, Challenge, and Growth in Khao Yai! ⛰️🌿

Our students recently returned from an unforgettable residential experience in Khao Yai, where they embraced new challenges, developed independence, and strengthened friendships through a wide range of outdoor activities.

Throughout the trip, students participated in team-building games, archery, bushcraft skills, aerial challenge courses, river scrambling, and a rewarding trek through Khao Yai National Park to explore its beautiful waterfalls and natural surroundings. These experiences encouraged resilience, collaboration, problem-solving, and confidence beyond the classroom.

The residential also provided valuable opportunities for students to step outside their comfort zones, connect with nature, and create lasting memories with their peers and teachers.

We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, teamwork, and positive attitudes shown throughout the week. It was a truly memorable adventure filled with learning, laughter, and personal growth.

🌱🐔 Learning Through Nature at Get Growing Farm! 🐔🌱

Our students enjoyed a wonderful hands-on learning experience during their visit to Get Growing Farm, where they explored the importance of sustainability, responsibility, and caring for living things.

Throughout the day, students rolled up their sleeves and got involved in a variety of farm activities, including preparing garden beds, working in the chicken coop, feeding farm animals, and collecting fresh eggs. These real-world experiences helped deepen their understanding of where food comes from while encouraging teamwork, curiosity, and a connection with nature.

Learning beyond the classroom provides valuable opportunities for students to develop practical skills, confidence, and an appreciation for the environment.

Well done to all our young farmers for embracing every activity with enthusiasm and smiles! 🌿🐓🥚

นักเรียนของเราได้สนุกกับการเรียนรู้นอกห้องเรียนผ่านกิจกรรมหลากหลายที่ Get Growing Farm โดยได้สัมผัสประสบการณ์จริงเกี่ยวกับธรรมชาติ การเกษตร และการดูแลสิ่งมีชีวิตอย่างใกล้ชิด

🌟 Welcome to Ascot International School, Monique Thorpe 🌟

We are delighted to welcome Monique Thorpe to the Ascot community as a member of our Secondary School Mathematics team.

Monique is a passionate and experienced Mathematics educator who brings a wealth of international teaching experience, most recently from CIA First International School in Phnom Penh. Throughout her career, she has played a key role in developing and implementing engaging Middle School Mathematics programmes that support both academic achievement and student wellbeing.

With expertise in inquiry-based learning, curriculum design, and data-informed teaching, Monique is committed to creating inclusive and engaging learning environments where every student feels supported, challenged, and inspired to succeed. She believes that Mathematics should encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence, helping students develop skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

In addition to her teaching experience, Monique has contributed to a range of whole-school initiatives, including wellbeing programmes and community engagement projects, reflecting her dedication to supporting students both academically and personally.

We are excited to welcome Monique to Ascot and look forward to the knowledge, enthusiasm, and care she will bring to our students in the 2026–2027 academic year 💛

🏆🎨🎤 House Colour Day 🎤🎨🏆

Our Primary students came together for an exciting House Colour Day filled with teamwork, creativity, school spirit, and friendly competition.

Throughout the day, students represented their Houses in a variety of activities, including PE challenges, traditional Thai games, House Chant performances, and the creation of unique House Mascots using recycled materials. Each event provided opportunities for students to collaborate, communicate, and demonstrate their House pride.

The energy and enthusiasm were on full display as students worked together to earn points for their Houses while showing excellent teamwork, creativity, and sportsmanship.

Congratulations to all students for their outstanding participation and effort. A special congratulations to Phaya Kochasarn (Elephant House) for finishing as the overall House Colour Day Champions! 🐘🏆

Last Thursday, we celebrated an important milestone in the learning journey of our Year 6 students as they graduated from Primary School and prepared for their next chapter in Secondary.

These special moments capture the pride, joy, friendships, and achievements that have shaped their Primary Years. From curious young learners to confident and capable young people, they have grown in so many ways and are now ready to embrace new opportunities and challenges ahead.
