During our last summer session, the children’s exploration took a vibrant turn as they began experimenting with blue light. They were absolutely mesmerized to see how different colors reacted, creating a magical "glowing" effect right before their eyes! 🌈✨

Driven by curiosity, they experimented painting with various shades, eager to see which colors would transform under the blue light. Watching them experience this, full of wonder and questions, was the highlight of our summer.

Looking back at these photos, it’s incredible to see what happens when you give children some tools, a challenge, and the freedom to explore.

All summer long, these young creators:

-built custom gadgets from scratch
-designed original games that kept everyone on their toes
-tackled team challenges that required serious brainpower and collaboration

The absolute best part? Seeing the children deep in discussion, watching their ideas flow, and witnessing those "Aha!" moments when a solution finally clicks. There is nothing quite like the energy of a child lost in the joy of making!

We are returning this July with a packed schedule designed to help your child Play, Make, and Create all summer long.

We’ve curated specific adventures for every age group, from our smallest "Players" to our oldest "Innovators":

🎨 PLAYERS (Pre-K):
Gross Motor Games, Splash & Spray, and Movement!
9 AM - 1 PM

🌲 MAKERS (K1): Culinary Crafts, Little Carpenters, and Fun Sports!
9 AM – 1:10 PM

🧪 CREATORS (K2): Gadget Lab, Wood Shop, and Poolside Fun!
9 AM – 1:20 PM

⚙️ INNOVATORS (K3 & Above): Full STEAM ahead with Tech, Engineering, Art, and Summer Swimming!
9 AM – 1:30 PM

Seats are limited for each group, and they fill up fast! Save this post, coordinate with friends, and set your alarms for April 20th. We can’t wait to create with you!

✈️ Cleared for takeoff in Pre-K! ✈️

Our library transformed into a bustling airport as our explorers took to the skies! We traded our classroom for an in-flight setup, complete with full cabin service and plenty of "safe soaring" through the clouds. ☁️✨

The excitement started right at the gate! Before boarding, our Gate Agents carefully checked everyone’s tickets and guided them to their assigned seats. 🎟️🪑

It was so much fun watching the children step into different roles:

👩‍✈️ Future Pilots navigated us through some (imaginary) turbulence.

🛒 Flight Attendants made sure everyone had their snacks and seatbelts fastened.

🌍 World Travelers shared wonderful stories about their own family trips and favorite places they've flown to!

This experience was a lovely way to build personal connections, practice patience and turn-taking, and spark curiosity about the big world around us.

This week has been a beautiful journey around the globe! 🌎

We are celebrating the diverse cultures that make our school community, and the world beyond, so special. A very big thank you to our incredible parents for their thoughtful creativity in putting together immersive experiences that gave the children a true glimpse into the vibrant traditions of the outside world.

We can't wait to visit all the booths tomorrow!

Yesterday was a truly vibrant day as our children immersed themselves in the sights and sounds of the Lunar New Year! It was a beautiful celebration of culture experienced through the magic of art, music, and dance.

Our K1 and K2 students gave lovely performances followed by an energetic K3 Dragon Dance that brought so much joy and laughter to the whole school. To add an extra layer of cultural depth, we were treated to the enchanting music of the Guzheng and Erhu. Hearing these traditional instruments played so beautifully was a highlight for us all.

What a wonderful way to experience this beautiful tradition.

What’s a number without something to stand for?

Last week, our K1 children dived into the world of Number 8! Instead of just writing digits, they chose 8 friends to bring to life through their art.

From careful tracing and cutting to vibrant painting, every step was a hands-on exploration. It wasn’t just a math lesson, it was a morning filled with creativity, fine motor practice, and meaningful fun!

Building a community is heart-work! Our oldest learners have spent weeks exploring what it means to be a school family. They’ve discovered that a community is a group of people who love and care for one another, from our Pre-K friends to our teachers, office staff, and kitchen team. Everyone has a special role to play!

To bring their vision to life, K3 carefully studied our campus and built an incredible 3D school model. They didn't miss a single detail, including:

It took a lot of planning, building, and teamwork, but they presented their project with so much pride. Way to go, K3! You’ve shown us all what it truly means to be a community.
