Artificial Intelligence (AI) is driving unprecedented demands on data movement, processing, and connectivity. This webinar explores the critical role of wireline and optical communications, chiplet-based design, and digital signal processing (DSP) in powering the next generation of AI infrastructure. Emphasis will be placed on how high-speed interconnects and advanced DSP techniques enable reliable, scalable, and energy-efficient data transmission across data centers, forming the backbone of hyper-AI systems.
👨💼 Speaker Bio:
Dr. Ahmad ElMoslimany received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, Tempe, USA, in 2016. He obtained his M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Nile University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2011, and his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2009. He is currently the Lead of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) at MediaTek. Prior to this, he was a Senior Staff DSP Engineer at STMicroelectronics from 2022 to 2024, a Senior Research Engineer at STMicroelectronics from 2017 to 2022, and served as an Assistant Professor with the School of Science, University of Prince Edward Island, Cairo Campus, between 2020 and 2023. Dr. ElMoslimany’s research interests include model-based design for wireless communications, wireline communication systems, and advanced digital signal processing techniques for wireless and optical communication technologies.
