Wellness Walkathon – 9th May

The Apton School warmly invites families and the wider community to join us for a refreshing morning dedicated to movement, wellness, and meaningful connection.

The event will feature a Zumba session led by The Fitness Stop, along with interactive games organized by Upstudio in collaboration with The Fitness Stop.

🕖 Time: From 7:00 AM onwards
🎟️ Tickets: TSh 5,000 per person (available at The Apton School front desk or via +255 754 551 188)

👕 Dress Code: Families are encouraged to coordinate their outfits by choosing a colour theme that reflects their family spirit.

Today, our campus came alive as students dressed as their favourite book characters, celebrating the stories and imagination that books bring into our lives. Earlier this week, our Peer Mentoring programme brought students together, with older learners reading to younger ones; creating meaningful moments of connection while nurturing confidence and a shared love for reading.

We were also delighted to welcome King Kinya, one of Tanzania’s leading editorial cartoonists, who added a special highlight to the day. During assembly, he guided students through a live drawing demonstration, encouraging them to put pencil to paper and follow his step by step process. His session inspired students to see storytelling beyond words and to express their ideas through visual creativity.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our teachers and families for their continued support in building a strong reading culture within our school community.
