Listen and Repeat: Mambo vipi is an informal way of asking someone how they are doing. It can be translated as "How is it going?" and "How are you doing?" Mambo is also another way to ask how someone is. This phrase is generally used when speaking with peers.

Listen and Repeat: Ninatoka. Last week, you learned that Unatoka wapi means where are you from. Ninatoka (place you are from) is the response. For example: Ninatoka Washington - I am from Washington. Ni means I, na is the present form of to be, and toka is from.

Listen and Repeat: Jina langu ni... Yesterday, you learned that Jina lako nani means, "What is your name?" When responding in Kiswahili, you say, "Jina langu ni (your name)." Jina means name, langu means my, and ni means is.
