A transformed future for women, a future without being at risk of gender based violence, starts in the classroom. Girls in schools and young women in universities deserve a safe space to learn and prepare for their future.

Together with Women Fund Tanzania, today we kickstart a training series for staff from universities around Dar es Salaam, to enhance their ability to solve gender issues.

An exciting day for GTI and partners, as CrossRoad International (CI) Executive Director Carine Guidicelli and Board Member Susan Green visited TGNP Mtandao and GTI to strengthen partner relations and observe the progress of the online Young Feminist Leader Mentoring Program, a pilot project that was launched in March this year. The CI team and TGNP Executive Director Lilian Liundi met the mentees who shared their experiences, and how the program has impacted their personal and career growth. The CI team agreed to further support the program through a North South exchange program, linking the mentees with international mentors.

We are celebrating an important occasion today, as our Executive Director Lilian Liundi signed an agreement on behalf of TGNP, together with Jacqueline Mahon of UNFPA, to extend their partnership and continue the pursuit of gender equality and women's empowerment.
