Sundays have a special way of bringing calm, clarity, and fresh energy.
They remind us that growth is not always seen in big moments.
Sometimes it lives in the little things — progress, confidence, and new understanding.
One child reading with more courage.
One learner solving a problem alone.
One question asked with confidence.
These moments matter more than they seem.
Today is for gratitude, reflection, and getting ready for a beautiful new week ahead.
Happy Sunday.

Sometimes it’s not that a child can’t learn…
they just need things explained in a way that makes sense to them.
I’ve seen how one simple explanation can change everything.
confusion turns into understanding,
and suddenly, confidence grows.
That’s why I take my time to guide, not rush.
Because every child deserves to understand, not just follow.
And when they do… you can see the difference.

Excellence in teaching is not an accident.
It is intentional. It is consistent. It is built.
I don’t just teach lessons.
I shape thinking.
I build confidence.
I create understanding that lasts beyond the classroom.
This is what SPELLERS stands for.
A new standard.
A deeper way of learning.
A space where every child is guided to think, not just memorize.
This is not noise.
This is impact.
And this is only the beginning.

📚 CBC-Based Assessment: More Than Just Marks!
In the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), assessment isn’t about cramming for exams—it’s about measuring real skills.
Instead of only testing memory, CBC-based assessments focus on:
✅ Practical skills – Can learners apply what they’ve learned?
✅ Creativity & innovation – Are they thinking outside the box?
✅ Collaboration – Can they work with others to solve problems?
✅ Values & attitudes – Are they showing responsibility, empathy, and respect?
With CBC, assessments happen throughout learning, not just at the end.
Every project, activity, and discussion counts toward building a learner’s full potential.

Why CBC Focuses on READING SPEED — Not Just READING
⠀⠀
In the new CBC assessments, you’ll notice something different:
It’s not just can the child read?
It’s also how fast and fluently can they read? ⏱️💬
Why? Because in real life, reading
✅ Understanding quickly
✅ Reading smoothly, not word by word
✅ Building confidence when speaking or answering
✅ Processing information in time-limited situations
🧠 Fast, fluent reading = better comprehension and better thinking.
💡 So when we measure speed, we’re not rushing children—we’re training their minds to work smoothly and clearly.
Let’s support our kids to read DAILY and read ALOUD.
📚 One story a day goes a long way!

🎓 What Makes CBC Different? ✨
We’re not just teaching subjects anymore—we’re nurturing skills for life!
Under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), learning is:
🔍 Practical – Kids learn by doing
🧠 Reflective – They think about why and how
🤝 Collaborative – They learn with and from others
🎨 Creative – Every child gets a chance to shine in their own way
📌 As educators and parents, our role has shifted too.
We’re now facilitators of learning, not just instructors.
🌱 Let’s give our learners the room to explore, make mistakes, ask questions—and grow.
❤️ CBC isn’t just a curriculum—it’s a journey of discovery.
👇 What’s one change you’ve seen in your child or learner since CBC began?

A Day in the Life of a Teacher.
Today has been one of those days—busy, full, and beautiful in its own way.
From the moment I stepped into school, the energy of my learners reminded me why I do this. We tackled reading challenges, corrected yesterday’s work, and laughed in between lessons.
There were questions. There was noise. There was growth.
Sometimes, it’s not about ticking everything off the to-do list—it’s about showing up, giving your best, and making sure the children know they are seen, heard, and loved.
📚 Being a teacher isn’t just a job—it’s a calling. And today, I answered it with all my heart. ❤️
