The Old Girls Association of Nabisunsa (OGAN) joins the Class of 2008–2013 in mourning the passing of their beloved classmate and sister, Brenda Atwijukire, who passed away today, 6th June 2026.

Brenda will be remembered as a gentle, reserved, and kind-hearted soul. She carried herself with grace and humility, and was known for her peaceful nature and warmth towards others.

As we come to terms with this painful loss, we extend our deepest condolences to her family, classmates, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.

May Brenda’s beautiful soul rest in eternal peace, and may her memory continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

We are pleased to profile Mary Twesigomwe, class of 1997-2000 (Green West House) as our personality of the day.

Mary Twesigomwe is an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda, a Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public. She is the Founder and Managing Partner of TMBEI Advocates, a Kampala-based law firm specializing in commercial law, public sector governance, financial regulation, and institutional compliance.

She has extensive experience in public sector legal advisory, having previously served at the Ministry of Works and Transport, where she contributed to policy development and the strengthening of regulatory frameworks within government institutions.

Mary currently serves as the Principal Legal Officer for Karamoja Peace and Technology University (KAPATU), where she leads legal structuring, governance design, and regulatory compliance processes, including high-level engagements with national oversight and regulatory bodies.

We celebrate Mary for her excellence and commitment to service. We are proud to call her one of our own and look forward to the continued impact she will make in the legal and governance space.
