Makerere University Business School through the Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Incubation Centre in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is working to support the strengthening of inclusive and sustainable livestock and fodder value chains across five districts in Karamoja; Moroto, Napak, Nakapiripirit, Amudat, and Kotido.
held a validation workshop to validate the study on the current status of the live animal trade, red meat, and fodder value chains in the target districts. The results of the study are aimed at contributing to a broader process of developing enterprise and off-taker business models, designing district-specific capacity building and incubation plans, and establishing sustainability models.

Today, we concluded the Graduates Into Employment Programme, bringing to an end a valuable learning experience designed to prepare finalists for the transition from university to the workplace.
Over the course of the programme, participants engaged in practical sessions covering finding a job, resilience and excellence at the job, presentation skills, personal branding, work ethics, planning for your money, and customer experience.

The Graduates Into Employment Programme is underway at MUBS-EIIC, bringing together finalists for practical learning and preparation for the world of work.
The programme is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to successfully transition from university into employment. Throughout the programme, participants will engage in sessions on finding a job, resilience and excellence at the job, presentation skills, personal branding, work ethics, and planning for your money.
The programme was officially opened by Dr. Diana Ntamu, who encouraged participants to take full advantage of the opportunity and actively engage in the learning process as they prepare for their professional journeys.

PostBank Uganda Ltd together with Makerere University Business School, through the Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Incubation Centre, is conducting a financial literacy training under the GROW project for women entrepreneurs in the creative industry.
This training, meant to equip the entrepreneurs with the mindset, tools, and acumen to improve their money management.
The training was officially opened by Prof. Moses Muhwezi, who emphasised that women are a pivotal pillar to any nation and that they have unique attributes like trust, reliability, resilience, and innovative thinking that they should capitalise upon for personal and industry growth.

Cohort 2 of the Private Sector Foundation Uganda- (PSFU) Work Readiness Programme “We Work” is now underway at Makerere University Business School.
The session was officially opened by the Director of MUBS-EIIC, Dr. Diana Ntamu together with Ms. Betty Twesiime from PSFU, who encouraged participants to approach the programme with an open mind and actively engage in the sessions. The programme continues to equip participants with practical workplace skills, professional development, and readiness for the world of work.

Yesterday we hosted The Last Lecture for finalist students at Makerere University Business School, bringing together students for a reflective and engaging session as finalists prepare for the next stage of their journey.
The session featured contributions from the Principal of MUBS, Prof. Moses Muhwezi, the Director of MUBS-EIIC, Dr. Diana Ntamu, and the Guild President, H.E. Rose Nabwire. Discussions focused on growth, transition, personal responsibility, and preparing students for life beyond university.
The event provided finalists with an opportunity to reflect on their academic journey while gaining insights and encouragement as they move into the next chapter of their personal and professional lives.
