Aviation has a way of turning big goals into real possibilities, one flight at a time.

Every pilot starts somewhere, and every lesson learned brings you one step closer to the cockpit.

Featured CFI: Sierra Johnston, Scottsdale, AZ ✈️

Sierra is currently working toward her Multi-Engine certification with the goal of becoming a charter pilot for NetJets.

One of her favorite parts of instructing is celebrating student milestones, especially checkride passes and seeing the work students put in finally come together. She also values the unique perspective that comes from transitioning from student to instructor and helping guide the next generation of pilots through their own training journey.

The runway looks different at night.

Distances can be harder to judge. Lights can be misleading. What feels familiar during the day requires a different level of awareness after sunset.

Preparation is what turns uncertainty into confidence.
