Arbor Hill Elementary School’s vision is to educate the whole child. Common Core Learning Standards are our guiding force.

We expect our students to work towards level 4 (above grade level) academic achievement, and this can happen when parents and staff work together to keep children focused, when children are exposed to community programs and services, and when children drive their own learning. We will realize our vision if we can demonstrate a year of academic growth for each school year a child completes.

Thank you to all the fathers and father figures who joined us for today’s Ties & Time with Dad!

Our students loved making memories with you, practicing their tie-tying skills, enjoying refreshments, and getting fresh haircuts. Most importantly, they cherished spending quality time with their loved ones.

This special day wouldn't have been possible without our amazing community partners. Thank you for your support: Brothers United, Kidz First, Juices Forever, and Tru Images Barbershop!

Thursday's temps called for a refreshing treat!

Second grade built their own banana splits, with help from the Honest Weight Food Co-Op.

Our young confectioners sliced bananas and then added Greek yogurt, fruit, granola and - of course - the dessert would not have been complete without sprinkles and whipped cream!

This new take on the classic sundae was a joy to make AND eat.

The Arbor Hill Elementary team brought the house down Friday with a lip-synch battle to remember!

There was moon walking, girl power, boy bands, the scuba (IYKYK), costumes, lights and lots and lots of laughs.

The only thing better than our staff giving it all on the stage was the energy from the supportive students who rocked the audience

Warning: scrolling through the pics below of the epic performance – with questionable dance moves - will get your toes tapping and leave you smiling!

You'd be hard pressed to find anything more adorable than our prekindergartners enjoying pony rides and a petting zoo!
