At last week's Greater Syracuse Labor Council Awards dinner. CSEA Local 913, President, Kathy Zabinski with NYS Attorney General Letitia James.

Syracuse Area Retirees Local 913, which includes retirees from Cayuga, Onondaga and Oswego counties, recently held its annual Spring Membership Meeting at Drumlins in Syracuse. Members in attendance heard from guest speakers representing the Office of the Comptroller, Political Action, and the CSEA Retiree Division. The presentations provided valuable updates and information relevant to the membership.

Florida State North Local 952 and the local’s Unit 1 held an executive committee meeting on April 13 in The Villages. Attendees included Local 952 President Kathryn Albowicz, Katherine Moran, Delores Walker, Irene Kobbe, David Soule, Unit 1 members Michelle Gaiser and Vito Raguseo, and guests CSEA Retiree Program Specialist Heather McGee, Frank Frear and Carrie Raguseo. In addition to discussing union business, attendees honored Vito Raguseo, who is retiring from his board position. Local and unit thanked Vito for his years of service, and gave Vito praise, a card and gift.
