Members of the Albanettes and Troudabours shared beautiful harmonies by lifting their voices together at the Juneteenth Celebration on June 20! They performed "Circle of Life" from "The Lion King" and "Sir Duke" by Stevie Wonder. Great job, Falcons!

On of the most rewarding aspects of our school community here at Albany High is seeing the end-result of months of hard work and dedication in the classroom!
For our students studying the arts, the payoff comes the moment they step on the stage and deliver a riveting performance built upon the skills and knowledge they attained through countless hours of individual and group practice.
On June 12, our Falcon dance students put on a thrilling performance for our school during all four lunch periods. Through back-to-back performances, our Falcon dancers showcased stamina, precision and enthusiasm. We are so proud of this talented group of students!
Congratulations to each of our dance students on a job well-done, and a special thanks to dance teacher Donna Mannarino and staff member Jahmere Holland for their collaboration that made this performance truly inspirational!

Thanks to Albany High's Class of 1965, our Falcon artists now have a beautiful glass display case to exhibit their artwork!
As our fine arts program continues to thrive here at Albany High, our students are producing pieces across a wide variety of artistic disciplines, and we are dedicated to celebrating their work within our walls and beyond.
Principal Jodi Commerford suggested that the Class of 1965 purchase a professional-grade display case to safely showcase student artwork year-round.
The display case was installed this past week, along with a commemorative sign which celebrates the investment of these thoughtful alumni who chose to pour into the next generation.
With the installation of this glass display case, we are moving forward with transforming this area into our "Falcon Gallery," which will serve as a year-round hub to highlight the drawings, paintings, photography, pottery, sculptures, textile work and graphic design projects that our students are producing through their coursework.
Class of 1965, thank you for your generosity and for investing in our student artists!
If you would like to make a financial or in-kind donation to help showcase our student artwork in the Falcon Gallery, reach out to the Fine Arts Department Chair Kristine Monahan at [email protected] for additional information.
