AFE often partners with AIHA for student programs and visits. They’re generously opening on Juneteenth holiday next Friday ( no school)
Join us next Friday, June 19 from 10AM–5PM for Juneteenth Family Free Day—free admission and activities for visitors of all ages!
Enjoy hands-on artmaking, gallery tours, family yoga, live music by the Arch Stanton Quartet, an ASL tour of Blanche Lazzell: Becoming an American Modernist, and a Community Action Fair highlighting organizations and nonprofits serving the Capital Region.
Additional activities throughout the day include a community weaving workshop with artist Margot Becker, silkscreen postcards with The Department of Things, a scavenger hunt, button making, and more.

AFE helped fund a one-week Circus residency at Montessori Magnet School. Practicing circus arts helps students build strength, balance, and patience - and teaches the importance of teamwork and mutual support.
