🍎 Educator Spotlight: Mrs. Lee 🍎

Meet Mrs. Lee, our 4th Grade STEM teacher at the K–5 campus! With 17 years of teaching experience, a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, and a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology, she brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the classroom.

When she's not teaching, Mrs. Lee enjoys cooking, painting, and spending time with her family, which includes three sons, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

What does she love most about teaching? Seeing those exciting "aha" moments when students truly grasp a concept and watching them grow academically and personally throughout the year. Her favorite part of this school year was leading STEM labs and seeing that growth firsthand.

Thank you, Mrs. Lee, for inspiring curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in our students every day! ❤️🐺

Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve had the privilege of celebrating some incredible milestones across our school community as our Kindergarten, 5th grade, and Class of 2026 graduates marked the completion of an important chapter in their educational journey.

From our youngest learners taking their first big step forward, to our 5th graders preparing for the transition to our 6–12 campus, to our seniors crossing the stage and becoming Explore Academy alumni, each graduate has shown growth, perseverance, curiosity, and determination along the way.

We are proud of everything they have accomplished and excited to see what comes next as they continue pursuing their goals, passions, and dreams.

Congratulations to all of our graduates, we can't wait to see where your journey takes you next! 👏🎉🐺

Senior Spotlight 🎓

Meet Breana Marquez-Aragon!

After graduation, Breana will be attending the University of New Mexico to pursue a degree in Nursing.

One of Breana’s favorite memories from her time at Explore Academy was her chemistry classes, from the experiments to the friendships and experiences made along the way.

Breana credits Mr. AK, Mr. Ayres, Mr. Urenda, and Ms. Kristi as some of the teachers who inspired and motivated her most throughout high school.

Breana shares that Explore Academy helped prepare her for the future by teaching her how to stay organized and manage her work effectively.

Fun fact: Breana is very sporty and enjoys going on runs. 🏃‍♀️
