This week, as part of our study of Kenya, the children enjoyed a special cooking day inspired by Kenyan culture. Together, we made tasty Swahili coconut bites and explored some of the flavors that are enjoyed in East Africa.

The children had so much fun mixing ingredients, following steps, and working together in the kitchen. They were excited to try something new and loved tasting the finished treats.
