This week, we’d like to introduce Ms. Kim from Room 4!

When Ms. Kim is not reading a book, she enjoys eating a good hoagie and watching Notting Hill, but she prefers binge-watching Yellowstone and Outlander.

One of the best parts of teaching at Mercy is the flexibility and, of course, the wonderful students. Ms. Kim also enjoys the smaller school environment and the opportunity to collaborate with the other classrooms. She loves teaching with the new smart boards and utilizing the Unique Learning Program in her classroom.

Attention Golfers! ⛳

Registration is now open for our 37th Annual Golf Tournament!

Join us for a fantastic day of golf at the historic Northampton Country Club. The tournament will feature an 11:00 AM shotgun start, giving everyone the chance to enjoy a full day on the course with fellow golfers and friends.

After play concludes, all participants are invited to enjoy a buffet dinner, where we can relax, celebrate the day, and swap stories about the great shots (and the missed putts!) from the course.

Two Saturdays ago, you may have noticed a sea of pink in the streets of Bethlehem! That was our Ansley Angels crew from Mercy School participating in the Laughing at My Nightmare 5K. It was a wonderful day filled with community spirit, teamwork, and fun. We are so proud of our students and staff who take part in local races throughout the year and represent our school so well! 💗🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Faith Day Friday! 🙏

This year at Mercy School, we celebrated several important Sacraments with our students!

1 student made their Profession of Faith
4 students received their First Reconciliation
3 students received their First Holy Communion
1 student received the Sacrament of Confirmation

We are grateful to all of the priests who came to our school and helped make these special celebrations possible. We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mrs. K, our Director of Religious Education, for guiding and supporting our students as they prepared for these important sacramental milestones.

📣 Catholic education and Mercy School needs your voice — TODAY!

House Bill 2632 in Harrisburg would cut back and ultimately eliminate the EITC scholarship program — the lifeline that permitted the families of 4,248 students in the Diocese of Allentown – 49% of all students – and thousands more families across Pennsylvania to afford a Catholic education for their children during the past school year alone.

The Pennsylvania Catholic Conference warns HB 2632 would cut $102 million in funding, tie the program up in red tape, and could force some Catholic schools to close. The children hurt most would be those who need the help most.
