Last night we visited with Joy Conner from Acts Community we go to hear her powerful testimony we were truly inspired it something our hearts needed ❤️ She gifted us notepads for each of us to be able to sit and write in our own time letting god lead the way the last prompt was rewriting your next chapter in your life ,With hope for the future ❤️
Joy reminded us to love ourselves and being kind Don’t surrender to the things that seems like they are in control god is in control 💖

On Monday we had Dr.Shanna James the executive director for Andrea's Project come and hang out with us. 💙 We got to hear Andrea’s story and learn about the impact of drinking and driving and what it measn to BE A HERO 🦸 We also talked about “distracted driving” we played a fun game where distractions were added in making it difficult for the participants to finish the exercise! We enjoyed our St.Pattys day with Ms.Shanna! 💙🤘🏽

On Thursday night, we had the privilege of meeting Stefany and Josue, the owners of Purpose Barbershop, and Raquel, a gifted Cosmetic Tattoo Artist, who inspired us with their remarkable journeys, sparking a sense of purpose and empowering us to unlock our full potential!! Stefany a former Wesley employee shared her insight of self-discovery in driving meaningful impact. Josue's wise words encouraged us to trust in our unique paths, as part of a larger plan. Raquel reminded us to uplifting one another. she also created handmade pencil bags for each participant,We appreciate you guys spending time with us!

On Tuesday night we had the wonderful Executive Director from Window On a Wider World Mary Bralley come and speak to our participants about ways to control stress and anxiety. We also talked about that we never know what others are going through so always be kind. 💕 It’s important to find positive friends,negative friends or acquaintances can bring you down. 💫 A reminder to always be positive and push through and you can overcome anything. Thank you Mary for sharing your experience and spending time with us!!
