The NEA Health and Safety Program is sharing an opportunity for members to participate in a study on student personal devices in schools.

K-12 public school educators are invited to share perspective in the Phones in Focus national research study led by University of Pennsylvania Professor Angela Duckworth and fellow researchers.

The confidential 5-minute survey will help researchers better understand student personal device policies and how they work in practice.

Survey participants will get an instant snapshot of student personal device policies across the country and the chance to enter the Phones in Focus Giveaway. Ten educators will win a $500 gift card!

After years of work to pass responsible retirement reform and provide Alaskans a reasonable pension, I’m glad to see this finally reach the Governor’s desk.

We still have tremendous work to do in the coming weeks. We need to pass budgets that take care of the vast needs across our state, address rising fuel costs and broader affordability and energy challenges, continue making progress on gasline legislation, and give our schools and communities some relief they need.

Grateful to see another coalition priority close to the finish line, building on elections reform and the permanent BSA increase we secured last session.
