At New Horizons Preschool, we create a world in which children are safe to play and learn. We plan, create, and participate in lessons that promote imagination and cooperation. We learn how to hold a pencil, use scissors, write letters, count, sequence, take turns, walk in a line, raise our hands, share, and so much more. Our combination of academic and social skills help our students develop a strong foundation for kindergarten. We do all this through a 2 1/2 hour school day. Each of our school days is full of curated play based learning experiences. Our staff is amazing and love what they do! We still have a few spaces available in each of our classes for the 2026 - 2027 school year. Register online through our website now to secure your space. Link in bio.
New Horizons Preschool
New Horizons Preschool has a cheerful and stimulating environment where children explore, discover,
Our Penguins came dressed as pirates, Peter Pan, Wendy, John, Michael, Tinker Bell, and one of the Lost Boys or Girls. They decorated crocodile cupcakes, looked for letters, built hats, created pirate masks, followed clues to find treasure, and even had to dance to get Captain Hook to share his treasure with them! What an adventurous day!
Today was our Rainbow Class’s last regular day of school! We had choice time entirely outside! It was a fun way to play and learn! Want to play and learn with us next year? We only gave a few spots left in each of our classes. Register online now through our website to secure your spot! Link in bio.
It’s farm week for some of our classes. Our Teddy Bears used finger paint to create mud puddles and then added some pigs! Some of the pigs (and Teddy Bears) are dirtier than others
We’ve been having a tire-ific week at preschool! This week is all about transportation and our classes have been enjoying learning about different types of vehicles and how they go. It’s been “wheelie” awesome!
Have you seen the dinosaurs, dinosaurs, dinosaurs? Have you seen the dinosaurs that are roaming around our school? All of our classes created their own dinosaurs last week at preschool. We have a few spots in each of our classes for the 2026- 2027 school year. Register online through our website. Link in bio. Have any questions? Give us a call or send us an email.
Our Penguin Class celebrated their 100th day of school today! They brought in bags of 100 items to investigate and weigh, counted 100 ice cream scoops, created 100 handprints, glued 100 gum balls on a paper gum ball machine, made 100s day crowns and badges, and decided what we would buy with $100. It was a wonderful day!
Dinosaur week at preschool is extra fun and loud! We use our Big Room for indoor gross motor play. We play outside every day, however, our Big Room is a great place to move our bodies in big ways … especially during dinosaur week!
We’re stomping into dinosaur week!
Our Teddy Bears (3s) painted with peeps, our Rainbows (4s) designed and flew bunny copters, and our Penguins (5s) grew their own wheat grass (which the Easter Bunny snuck some treats into). We had an egg-stra fun week at school! Hoppy Easter! We still have a few spaces in each class for next school year. Register online through our website or give us a call to take a tour.
