Summer Learning Comes Alive at Tarrant County Kids!

This summer, students in Arlington ISD are experiencing hands-on learning, leadership development, and meaningful mentorship through Tarrant County Kids (TCK) Summer Camp 2026.

As Arlington ISD's after-school and summer program provider, Tarrant County Kids is proud to partner with Girls Inc. of Tarrant County's STEM Program and Vantage Point, the boys' mentorship and leadership initiative of YouthVantage Alliance, to provide engaging opportunities that inspire curiosity, confidence, and growth.

Campers explored exciting STEM activities, including:

🚀 Rocket Launches

🧪 Chemistry Demonstrations

🐻 Polar Bear Blubber & Insulation Experiments

☀️ Warm Air & Atmosphere Investigations

In addition, students benefited from a special partnership with the Texas Christian University Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences, where nursing students led interactive sessions on:

🔥 Fire Safety & Prevention

⛑️ Basic First Aid Awareness

🏠 Home and Personal Safety Preparedness

These experiences help students build critical thinking skills, develop leadership qualities, and learn practical safety lessons they can carry with them beyond the classroom.

Together, Tarrant County Kids, Girls Inc. of Tarrant County, Vantage Point, Arlington ISD, and TCU Nursing are creating opportunities that keep students engaged, learning, and thriving all summer long.

We officially wrapped up Week 1, and we couldn't be more excited about the summer ahead. From making new friends and creating memories to participating in fun activities and adventures, our campers have already made this first week one to remember!

This is just the beginning! We have so many exciting activities, special guests, field trips, and unforgettable experiences planned throughout the summer, and we can't wait to continue the fun.
