Looking back at our very first Christmas Parade and what a memorable night it was!

Students, teachers, and staff from our different campuses came together to march through the parade, spreading holiday cheer and school spirit throughout the community. The excitement grew as the parade came to an end with a special appearance by Mr. and Mrs. Claus and their cheerful elves! 🎅🤶🧝

The fun didn't stop there! Families enjoyed bounce houses, train rides, and a variety of vendors offering delicious food and drinks. It was truly a fun-filled evening filled with laughter, community, and holiday magic.

Events like these are just one example of the strong sense of community that makes Newman International Academy such a special place for students and families. We will be hosting another Uniform Drop-Off Event on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 from 10am-1pm! If your child has outgrown any Newman uniforms, we encourage you to participate.

Please bring gently used:
👕 Newman shirts and polo shirts
👖 Uniform pants
👗 Skorts

For each approved uniform item you donate, you will receive a coupon that can be exchanged for another size, based on availability.

✅ Items must be clean and in good condition.
✅ Please ensure there are no tears, rips, stains, or excessive wear.

This is a great way to help other Newman families while finding the sizes your child needs for the upcoming school year.

Ever wonder what our teachers do during summer break? ☀️🌴

Our amazing Pre-K 4 teacher, Mrs. Atkinson, and teacher assistant, Mrs. Alvarez, are soaking up the sunshine in beautiful Florida! From relaxing on the beach to enjoying some well-deserved rest and relaxation, they are making the most of their summer vacation.

We hope all of our Newman families are enjoying a wonderful summer, too. Thank you, Mrs. Atkinson and Mrs. Alvarez, for all you do for our students throughout the year. Enjoy every minute of your beach time! 🏖️❤️

Happy Flag Day!

Interesting facts about Flag Day:
Origin: The Continental Congress approved the design of 13 stripes and 13 stars representing the original colonies.
The First Flag: On June 14, 1777, the Second Continental Congress passed a resolution establishing the first official American flag.
Evolution: The design has been updated 27 times as new states joined the union, ultimately resulting in today's 50-star version.

Today we're looking back at one of our favorite weekly traditions at Newman International Academy—POWWOW! 🎉

Every Tuesday, our students gather together in the chapel for a special time of celebration, learning, and community. During POWWOW, we recognize our ⭐ Star Students of the Week ⭐, celebrate birthdays, hear exciting presentations from our teachers on a variety of topics, and get updates on upcoming events from Mrs. Tomes.

One of the best parts? Families are always welcome to join us! ❤️ We love bringing our school community together to celebrate the accomplishments and growth of our students.
