Week 8 from Sunnyside 👀

This week was all about the little things adding up — tiling, grouting, low-voltage work, deliveries, orders, and a tiny sneak peek of the floors.

🍕🥐 Little croissants, big accomplishments!

Last Saturday’s cooking class was all about transforming simple ingredients into delicious Pizza Croissant Rolls! As our young chefs worked through each step, they strengthened skills that go beyond the kitchen like problem-solving, sequencing, focus, decision-making, and independence.✨

We love creating experiences that blend learning, creativity, and fun in ways children can see, touch, and taste. And of course, the reward of all that fun was a tasty dish!

Week 7 from Sunnyside!

A lot is happening, a lot is changing, and the countdown to opening is starting to feel very real.

🥞 Flipping out over these Flap-Jacks! 🥞

Our young chefs rolled up their sleeves and made pancakes completely from scratch! From measuring ingredients to mixing batter and flipping pancakes, they practiced important skills like following directions, teamwork, and confidence in the kitchen.

The best part? Enjoying their delicious creations at the end! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳✨

Week 6 from Sunnyside, a Sunday night recap before we head into another big week!

This week brought tile pivots, paint samples on the walls, first coats of color… and the moment that made everything feel a whole lot more real: our storefront sign officially went up! 🤩

Tomorrow starts Week 7: ceilings, flooring, and hopefully a tile delivery we are very much counting down to.
