The Facilities Management Division Maintenance Project Management department will require a sidewalk closure between Russell Hall and Brumby Hall. The sidewalk will be closed starting today Tuesday, June 23rd from 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM. This is necessary for steps to be repoured. The Facilities Management Grounds Construction department will require a lane closure on East Green Street from 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM on 6/29/2026 and 6/30/2026 for asphalt paving. Please contact Clay Dally, Construction Manager at 404-867-7101 with any questions or concerns.

University of Georgia Earns Top Ranking in State Fleet Management Program - Finance & Administration The University of Georgia has earned Tier 1 status from the Georgia Office of Fleet Management for the first time, placing it among roughly 10% of the 135 state agencies evaluated to do so.

The Facilities Management Grounds Construction shop will require a sidewalk closure at the Arch on 6/24/2026 and 6/25/2026 for paver repair. Please contact Clay Dally, Construction Manager at 404-867-7101 with any questions or concerns.

The Facilities Management Division Maintenance Project Management department will require a section of sidewalk, on Hooper Street by Psychology parking lot, to be closed. The section of sidewalk will be closed starting today Wednesday, June 17th – Friday, June 19th. There will be four parking spaces blocked in the Psychology parking lot on Friday, June 19th. This is necessary to repair the sidewalk and parking lot island.

The Facilities Management Grounds Construction shop will require a lane closure on Lake Herrick Drive just past the parking deck to the tennis courts from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM on 6/22/2026 and 6/23/2026 for asphalt paving. Please contact Clay Dally, Construction Manager at 404-867-7101 with any questions or concerns.

The Facilities Management Division Maintenance Project Management department will require lane reductions on River Road starting on 6/17 - 7/24 with possible lane closures at various times on River Road/intersection of College Station. The contractor is planning on tree removal on 6/17 and will have a lane closed during this time. This is necessary to modify the intersection. See attached traffic map. On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, the Grounds Department will have a contractor removing several pine trees near Brumby Hall. The attached map shows the area where the sidewalk will be temporarily closed during the work.
