This year our Business Software Application students learned all about Microsoft PowerPoint 2019, Word 2019, and Excel 2019. Throughout the year, students had the opportunity to take certification exams for each of these applications. Students that passed two of the three exams earned their College and Career Readiness credential which is a graduation requirement. Some of these students earned Microsoft Office Specialist Associate level by passing all three exams. We are so proud of these students! Way to GOOM!!!β€οΈπ¦

Why should students take a CTE class in high school?
Career & Technical Education classes help students:
β
Gain real-world, job-ready skills
β
Earn industry certifications
β
Explore future career paths
β
Build leadership through organizations like DECA , FCCLA, and SkillsUSA
β
Graduate with confidence and a competitive edge
CTE bridges the gap between classroom learning and the real world. Itβs more than a class β itβs a head start. πΌβ¨
