BPF Admissions Aunties kicking off the Juneteenth weekend!

We attended “Finding Our People: The Untold Story of Juneteenth,” featuring author and educator Daniel Black ( Dr. Daniel Black)and Beth-Sarah Panton Wright (Dr. Beth-Sarah Panton Wright).

From powerful storytelling to inspiring music and community fellowship, the event reminded us that some of the most important learning happens outside the classroom.

We’re grateful to the Absalom Jones Chapel @ AUC (Absalom Jones Episcopal Center for Racial Healing) for hosting this meaningful program and to for helping bring the conversation to the community. Although we didn’t win a book, I loved the Juneteenth trivia

One thing about the Admissions Aunties—we’re always learning, always showing up, and always in the mix.

❤️🖤💚💛

More Than a Holiday. A Reminder.

🖤❤️💚 As we approach Juneteenth, we're reminded that education has always been part of the freedom story.

Generations before us fought for the right to learn, teach, read, lead, and create opportunities for their children. Today, families continue that legacy every time they ask questions, explore options, and advocate for the best educational fit for their child.

At Black Parents Forum, we're honored to help families navigate that journey.

The Admissions Aunties wish you a meaningful Juneteenth as we celebrate progress, possibility, and the power of education.
