Congratulations to Freddie Hendricks, theatre teacher at Utopian Academy For the Arts, on receiving a Tony Award for excellence in teaching!
A legendary Atlanta actor, singer, writer, director, producer, and educator, Hendricks has spent decades helping young performers discover their talent and confidence. Many of his former students have gone on to successful careers on Broadway, in Hollywood, and throughout the entertainment industry.
“Being recognized with a Tony Award as an educator is an honor of a lifetime,” Hendricks said.
