We love when our students give back! Just before graduating from Midtown High School, a few seniors visited David T. Howard Middle School for a powerful “big sis/little sis” mentorship conversation.
Students engaged in conversations about honors coursework at Midtown and shared their experiences with 8th-grade girls about academics, leadership, balance, and future college pathways!
The discussion was full of honesty, encouragement, and connection, with students offering real insight and inspiration. What A meaningful full-circle moment for many of our seniors and a strong step toward building lasting mentorship between schools!
This year, we got "Back to the Basics", and the results speak for themselves! From growth in reading and math to national and state recognition, the work is working✨. With a balanced budget, stronger schools, and expanded opportunities for students, Atlanta Public Schools continues to rise.
We are creating one of the strongest school systems in the nation, and we're just getting started. ❤️ Progress is here!
