Happy Father’s Day from Gate City Lodge #2!
Today, members of Gate City Lodge #2 were honored to participate in a special Father’s Day community activity, celebrating the fathers, grandfathers, mentors, and father figures who help guide and strengthen our families and communities.
Freemasonry teaches the importance of leadership, integrity, compassion, and service—values that many fathers demonstrate every day. We are grateful for the opportunity to come together in fellowship while recognizing the positive impact that fathers have on the lives of those around them.
To all fathers and father figures, thank you for your guidance, sacrifice, and example.
Happy Father’s Day!

Today, members of Gate City Lodge #2 were honored to join together in service and help prepare 547 meals for food-insecure members of our community.
Freemasonry teaches us that our obligations extend beyond the walls of the Lodge, and today was a wonderful reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Thank you to all of the brethren, volunteers, and community partners who gave their time and energy to support this important effort. We are proud to serve our neighbors and strengthen our community through charity and fellowship.

Tonight, the Brethren of Gate City Lodge #2 gathered for our Regular Communication—a tradition that reminds us of one of Freemasonry's most enduring lessons: that we meet on the level, act by the plumb, and part upon the square.
In a world that often focuses on what divides us, Freemasonry brings together men of different backgrounds, professions, beliefs, and experiences in a spirit of friendship, respect, and shared purpose. Within the Lodge, we are taught that character matters more than status, integrity more than titles, and service more than self-interest.
If you've ever been curious about Freemasonry, we'd love to meet you. Join us for dinner before the meeting, get to know some of our members, and learn more about what Masonry is—and what it isn't. No pressure, no obligations—just good food, good fellowship, and honest conversation. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month (except June, July, August, and December) for dinner at 6:30 PM with a stated communication to follow.
Meetings are held at the historic Atlanta Masonic Center, 1690 Peachtree St. NW, Atlanta, GA 30309 - across from the Amtrak station. Come meet the Brethren, ask questions, and explore what Masonry can mean for you.
Building better men.
Strengthening our community. One generation at a time.

Regular Communication Tonight, Gate City Lodge #2 had the honor and privilege of conducting a Fellowcraft Degree for five Entered Apprentice candidates as they were passed to the degree of Fellowcraft. These candidates came from three separate lodges (Gate City Lodge #2, Atlanta Peachtree Lodge # 59 and Piedmont Lodge #447) and brethren from many lodges were present to share in this meaningful experience together.
Freemasonry is a journey of personal growth, education, brotherhood, and service. Each degree represents another step forward in a man’s pursuit of knowledge, self-improvement, and a deeper understanding of the principles that unite us: brotherly love, morality and relief. Seeing brethren come together from different lodges to support and encourage these candidates is a powerful reminder that Freemasonry is far greater than any one lodge — it is a worldwide fraternity built upon friendship, character, and unity.
The Fellowcraft Degree especially encourages the pursuit of learning, wisdom, and the development of both the mind and character. Tonight’s degree was not only a memorable experience for the candidates, but also for every brother in attendance who was reminded of the lessons and obligations that continue to guide us in our daily lives.
“How good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.” Those words were truly reflected tonight through the fellowship shared among the brethren gathered at Gate City Lodge #2.
If this sounds like a journey you would like to learn more about, we invite you to join us for dinner and fellowship. Gate City Lodge #2 meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month (except June, July, August, and December), with dinner served at 6:30 PM at the Atlanta Masonic Center.
Freemasonry welcomes good men who seek to become better men through fellowship, service, moral teachings, and lifelong learning. We would be honored to meet you, answer your questions, and share more about the fraternity and the work we do in our community.

True sacrifice is the highest expression of Brotherly Love. On this Memorial Day Weekend, the Grand Lodge of Georgia solemnly remembers our fallen military Brethren. We honor your service, mourn your loss, and vow to never forget.

Today, brothers of Gate City Lodge #2 came together in the true spirit of charity and service during today’s Feed the City event. Through teamwork, dedication, and brotherly love, we helped prepare and distribute 512 lunches for food-insecure members of our community.
Charity is one of the greatest principles we can practice — not only in word, but through action. Every meal prepared today was a reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.
We are proud to stand together in service to others and grateful for everyone who gave their time and effort to support this important cause.
