I’m so proud of Dylan! He has been studying with me for two years now and in the last several months has started learning songs on his own and having a blast. He didn’t love lessons when he first started but he and his mom faithfully practiced each week and boy, has it paid off! He now has a hobby he truly enjoys.
Here is a short song he titled “Fury” that he composed.

Looking for a summer activity that helps your son build confidence, make friends, and have fun?
Our Boys Track combines:
🎭 Theatre games
🤝 Teamwork
🎨 Creativity
🥁 Bucket Drumming
⭐ Rhythm and Music Theory
Campers work together as a team to put on a mini musical called “Color Bomb,” with a special focus on acting and bucket drumming. Along the way, they’ll enjoy Lego challenges, tie-dye projects, outdoor fun, and plenty of other summer surprises!
Whether your son is outgoing or reserved, he’ll have the opportunity to build confidence, express his creativity, make new friends, and be part of something exciting. No theatre experience is needed—just a willingness to jump in and have fun.
While the Boys Track is geared toward ages 7–14, we already have several returning teen boys signed up who love the friendships, creativity, and unique camp experience. Older campers are absolutely welcome!
Join us for “Color Bomb,” where imagination, friendship, and creativity explode into color! 💥

Here’s an example of technique work we do in piano lesson—isolating one hand at a time and drawing out the beauty through fluid movement. Way to go, Melanie!

One of the many benefits of music lessons is that they keep students’ minds engaged over the summer! Reading music is like learning a new language—it challenges the brain and builds valuable skills. Music study also strengthens reading abilities as students learn to track symbols with their eyes and process information quickly.
I have personally experienced studying music to make me smarter, more coordinated, and more confident. Plus, it’s fun! What’s not to love about that?
Pictured is a math challenge for one of my students, Dylan, who especially enjoys these kinds of challenges!
