One month ago today, we celebrated the Class of 2026 when they officially became TCS alumni.

It was a day filled with reflection as each graduate shared how TCS shaped their journey. Families, alumni, current and former faculty, and friends gathered to honor a class that left its mark on our community in countless ways.

We also celebrated three students whose leadership and commitment to community exemplify the very best of TCS. For the first time in the award's history, the Kathy Roberts Ba-Boom-Ba Award was presented to two recipients, Vivienne Li and Francesca Reiner. Shane Victor received the Pride of the Pack Award for his leadership, character, and embodiment of the Wolf Pack spirit.

While our graduates may have left campus, they will always be part of the TCS community.

Congratulations again, Class of 2026. We can't wait to see where your next adventures take you.

Congratulations to Walter ('29) and Shelby ('30), whose artwork was selected for the 2026–27 TCS planner! Walter's design will appear on the front cover, and Shelby's design will be featured on the back cover.

The TCS planner helps students build executive functioning skills. Using a paper planner supports time management, strengthens working memory, encourages goal setting, and helps students stay focused without the distractions of a screen. As students learn to plan ahead, track responsibilities, and celebrate accomplishments, they're developing skills that will serve them well both in and out of the classroom.

We can't wait for students to see these creative designs on next year's planner!

Tomorrow, the Class of 2026 will walk across the stage and officially become TCS graduates.

Before they do, they reflected on their time at The Children's School, and their answers speak to the heart of a TCS education: belonging, empathy, self-advocacy, friendship, resilience, and the confidence to be fully themselves.
