Blanche Ely proudly honored more than 500 outstanding students who earned industry certifications through our CTE programs during a special gourmet breakfast celebration. This achievement represents an impressive 10% increase from last year in students earning industry certifications!
A huge congratulations to our more than 280 graduating seniors who not only earned valuable certifications, but also received their CTE cords โ recognizing their hard work, dedication, and career readiness.

๐ฅโจ Broward County Public Schools Career and Technical Education students delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 HOSA State Leadership Conference in Orlando, where more than 5,400 students from across Florida competed in a wide range of health science events.
Our students earned top honors, statewide recognition, and secured advancement to the HOSA National Leadership Conference in Indianapolis this June! ๐บ๐ธ๐
๐ฅ First-place winners led the way across multiple competitive events, showcasing excellence in Behavioral Health, Clinical Specialty, Medical Innovation, Patient Care Technician, and more.
๐ The HOSA Sunrise Region, led by Penny Wares, earned 1st place in the Penny Wars fundraising initiative for the second consecutive year, raising $1,619.60!
๐ Coral Glades High School earned Centum Chapter status, Guardian Chapter designation, and the Service Project Chapter Award, highlighting their commitment to leadership and service.
๐ Students were also recognized with Barbara James Service Awards and as Health Literacy Ambassadors, demonstrating their impact beyond competition.
From competition success to service leadership, Broward CTE students continue to raise the bar and represent the future of healthcare with excellence, professionalism, and purpose.
