The strongest leaders are often those who consistently and intentionally help others move forward every day.
At CCA, Dra. Reyna M. Anaya exemplifies that kind of leadership.
Serving as Vice President of Student Success, she has dedicated her work to creating equitable pathways that empower students to grow and feel supported throughout their educational journey.
Far beyond campus walls, through leadership and service with organizations such as NASPA and the American Association of Hispanics in Higher Education, Dra. Anaya continues to contribute to conversations and initiatives shaping student affairs nationally.
CCA is grateful for leaders who not only advocate for student success but also actively build environments where students can truly belong and thrive.
Thank you!

Some evenings remind you that leadership is not about titles. It is about community.
My wife, Daphne, and I were honored to attend the Colorado Men of Color Collaborative (CMOCC) All White Party in representation of the Community College of Aurora and spend time with educators, advocates, and leaders committed to expanding opportunity throughout our state.
I want to extend my deepest appreciation to Dr. Fernando Branch and Dr. Jeremy L. Eddie.
What they are building is bigger than an organization. They are cultivating a statewide community of educators across K-12, higher education, and workforce development who understand that talent is everywhere, but opportunity must be intentionally created.
They are reminding us that our responsibility is not simply to educate. Our responsibility is to create pathways to economic mobility.

“You are capable of more than you think, especially on the days you doubt yourself.”
It can be hard to keep believing in your ability to grow when things feel difficult or slow.
This Monday, remember that progress is not always obvious right away.
The most important thing you can do is keep showing up consistently for your goals.
Have a positive and productive week ahead!

Fatherhood can look different from one story to the next, but at its heart is often the same, full of love, support, guidance, and a desire to help others grow.
Today, CCA celebrates all fathers and father figures who provide strength during difficult moments and continue making a difference in the lives of those around them.
We recognize and appreciate the many dads within our college community and beyond who inspire us every day.
Wishing you a meaningful and joyful Father’s Day!

Every student’s path looks different, but the one thing they share in common is the courage to keep moving forward.
CCA alumnus Jesse McKay knows that journey well.
After graduating with an Associate of Applied Science in Diesel Power Mechanics, Jesse built a career in the industry and now helps lead the same apprenticeship pathway that connects to his field of study.
His story reflects the power of meaningful support systems and believing in what’s possible even during challenging moments.
In his Alumni in Action feature, Jesse speaks honestly about growth and the importance of having people who encourage you along the way.
At CCA, we’re proud to celebrate alumni like Jesse, whose stories continue to inspire current and future students every day.
