One of the most painful things about emotional neglect is that, as children, we often absorb the emotions, beliefs, and unspoken expectations of our caregivers and environment, especially if you’re highly sensitive and empathetic, like me.
Rather than seeing the situation for what it is, we internalize it. We blame ourselves.
As children, we depend on our parents for love, safety, and survival. Making our parents “wrong” can feel too threatening, so many of us unconsciously learn to make ourselves wrong instead.
Years later, that can manifest itself as self-doubt, people-pleasing, perfectionism, overachievement, difficulty setting boundaries, or the persistent feeling that we’re somehow “not enough.”
But here’s the good news: what was learned can be unlearned.
Old patterns can be broken, and new ones can be created because all patterns can be rewritten.
Healing begins when we recognize that many of the beliefs we’ve carried about ourselves were never ours to begin with.
What patterns have you noticed in your life that may still be playing out as a result of past experiences, conditioning, or programming?

I’m so excited to share that I’ve officially completed my Breath Science Certification through the after an extensive and comprehensive 1:1 mentorship with , an incredible breath and sleep scientist, and founder of the School of Breath Science.
Before this training, I had already completed two programs in conscious connected breathwork, both of which were deeply valuable experiences.
And yet, as someone with a scientific background and a naturally curious mind, I found myself craving more depth. I wanted to understand not only the experience of breathwork but the science behind why it works.
This mentorship delivered exactly that.
Through Martin’s guidance, I explored the biochemical, biomechanical, and psychophysiological mechanisms of breathing, as well as how breath influences the nervous system, performance, sleep, and the mind–body connection.
What made the program especially valuable was how clearly that science translated into practical ways of supporting people.
Just as meaningful as the depth of knowledge was the mentorship itself. Martin was really supportive and generous with his time, guidance, and feedback throughout the entire process.
I’m so grateful I followed my intuition and said yes to this mentorship. It has been one of the most educational and transformative breathwork training programs I’ve completed.
I’m so excited to continue integrating the knowledge and tools from this mentorship as I support my clients in moving from stress and dysregulation into grounded, embodied clarity, confidence, and freedom.

One of the most powerful presuppositions I’ve learned is this: All procedures should create wholeness.
When the founders of NLP studied successful people, they noticed a pattern. Success wasn’t just about strategy or talent, it was about wholeness and congruence.
The people who thrived were those learning how to become more whole, more aligned as human beings.
Yes, we’re born whole. But as life happens, cracks form. A setback here, an unprocessed emotion there. At first the glass still holds, but over time the fractures spread.
You can’t see clearly until you choose to mend it back together.
That fragmentation shows up as an inner tug-of-war. A part of you wants to move forward, but another part is weighed down by fear or doubt.
A part of you wants to stay in a relationship, while another is longing to leave.
For years, I lived with that tug-of-war. I knew the direction I wanted to go, yet fear, anger, and sadness kept pulling me back from the path I was meant to walk.
Wholeness is the realignment with your true Self.
As Carl Jung said, “The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.”
When we align with our Self, becoming whole, our path begins to unfold with greater clarity and ease.
My trainer, Dr. Matt James, once asked a powerful question that has stayed with me:
“Are the places I spend my time, the activities I engage in, and the relationships I nurture bringing me closer to my true Self, or pulling me further away?
So I’ll leave you with that same question.
Where in your life are you being pulled closer, and where are you being pulled away?

What have you been navigating in your life so far in 2026?
I’m in the process of refining my work and creating offerings that support people where they are on their journeys.
I’m looking to have a few 20-min, no-pressure conversations with entrepreneurs, business professionals, and other leaders to better understand what they’ve been navigating beneath the scenes.
These conversations are purely for listening and research, and as a thank-you, I’m offering a free private 30-minute breathwork session.
If you’d be open to helping, comment “LISTEN” or send me a DM.
Thank you in advance for your help!
