Groundwork Music Project trains and pays professional musicians, using the James Hill Ukulele Initiat

Neal Kassanoff led music programs in Austin area preschools for several years before launching Groundwork. Seeing the benefits of the programs firsthand, he watched children's musical abilities blossom and wanted to bring this type of enrichment to underserved communities. “This was the best day of my life!” - Aspyn 🥰 Thanks to the generosity of Naturally Nourished and @alimillerrd, kids at both of our resource centers are picking up ukuleles, learning new skills, and building confidence through music this summer. This gift sponsored ukulele lessons and provided instruments for these young musicians. 🎶 Led by the wonderful Mr. Neal from @groundworkmusic these lessons are a chance for kids to connect, express themselves, and experience joy in a safe, supportive space.
