Isaac spent his time at Wilson Hill studying AP Latin and Greek under a teacher who inspired him to read the classics in their original languages. He joined Junior Classical League, built friendships that carried into an online book club and a Bible study, and found a community that defied every stereotype about homeschool isolation!
He leaves Wilson Hill not just prepared for college, but with people he plans to keep for life.
Congratulations, Isaac!

Wilson Hill Academy exists to provide college-bound students with a classical Christian education fo
Wilson Hill Academy believes that gifted, enthusiastic teachers who can bring their subjects alive are the key to successfully delivering a classical Christian education, whether online or in a classroom. At WHA you will find teachers who truly love their subjects and who have thought deeply about the way God is revealed in and through the various academic disciplines. But first and foremost, they

What if the books your third grader reads this year shaped how they think about truth, beauty, and God for the rest of their life?
Don't Miss These Books lays that foundation. Through great stories, lively discussion, and imaginative projects, young students learn to love literature and encounter the world God made through the lens of Scripture.
Charlotte's Web is a great example from the reading list, but teachers do not simply try to moralize the story. Instead, students begin to learn a biblical framework for understanding why stories matter at all. In that context, they can enjoy the story while learning the lessons subconsciously.
"To celebrate the end of our book, The Wind and the Willows, students completed a textual collage depicting the riverbank - the main setting of the story. The students were asked to incorporate at least 3 different textural elements into their collages and to follow the riverbank description in the book. Reegan did an excellent job with her project! In her collage, we see the textures of tissue paper, rocks, coffee beans, magazine paper, and leaves, to name a few. Her creative use of these elements led to a whimsical and beautiful representation of Rat and Mole’s beloved riverbank." - Mrs. Fujiwara, Teacher

There is a stereotype that homeschool students sit alone at kitchen tables, learning in isolation.
Wilson Hill students know otherwise.
Every other Tuesday, Latin and Greek students from across the country gather online, not for an assignment or a test, but because they genuinely want to be there. Ninety-one medals were earned at last year's National Classical Etymology Exam, but the medals were never really the point. Student-elected officers lead games, discussions, and competitions rooted in the classical world they are studying. Friendships form around conjugations and Cicero.
The point is that a love of ancient languages becomes a shared love, held together by a community of students who find delight in the same beautiful, strange, enduring things.
This is what an online community looks like when it is built with intention.

When Ruth asked the question, "If God is loving, how can He send people to hell?" she answered with Dante, Milton, and C.S. Lewis, thanks to her years at Wilson Hill Academy, where her teachers had trained her to think that way. This fall, she heads to Hillsdale College to study English and theater, carrying a vision of teaching at a classical school and restoring the art of storytelling to its rightful end. Congratulations, Ruth!

To the Wilson Hill Academy Class of 2026:
You began your journey learning to read, reason, and articulate truth. You leave having defended an original thesis before an audience, having studied Homer and Dostoevsky in live Socratic discussion, and having been formed in the conviction that all wisdom finds its source in Christ.
That is no small thing.
We celebrate not merely your academic achievement, but the intellectual and spiritual growth that made it possible. May you carry the habit of asking better questions, the courage to follow an argument wherever it leads, and a genuine love for the beautiful, good, and true into every season of life ahead.
Well done, graduates. The Great Conversation continues!
