The Association of Texas Professional Educators (ATPE) hosts this page for the benefit of its members. We encourage you to share education-related post, ideas, and links to materials on this page. Please refrain from posting items for sale, initiating religious discussions, or engaging in any type of dialogue that is disrespectful to any group. We are an inclusive group, and we believe it takes everyone working together to achieve our goal of an exemplary education for every child in Texas.

Some of your Region 4 officers were lucky enough to head to Region 1 ATPE this weekend to collaborate and learn at their leadership training. What started 4 years ago with a simple invite to then Director Eli and President Jay has now been an invite to the entire Region 4 board. It was great seeing familiar faces, meeting new friends and working with our neighboring Region. THIS is what ATPE is about. Learning, growing, collaborating, and long lasting friendships. Thanks again Region 1 for the warm welcome and hospitality! đź’•

Your vote matters!

Texas educators, today is critical! Let's ensure our voices are heard—first, make your way to the polls and vote in the primary runoff election if you haven't already. Then, take a moment to complete ATPE's important survey on educator compensation and special education before it closes at 11:59 p.m. CT Wednesday. Your insights will directly impact ATPE's testimony next week during the House Public Education Committee interim hearing. Together, we can strengthen our schools and support our students.
